New Experience of Fire Safety: Review of Huayuansheng Fire Drill

​ Under the warm winter sun, on November 23, a special safety education activity - fire safety drill - was in full swing in Huayuan Sheng. This activity is not only a simulation of emergency training, but also an important course for every employee to learn how to use fire extinguishing equipment correctly and improve self-protection ability.

​ Evacuation drills: safe and orderly

​ In the afternoon of the same day, at the pre-set point in time, with the sound of the alarm, the evacuation drill officially began. All the staff responded quickly and evacuated to the safe area in an organized manner according to the pre-planned evacuation route. The whole process was well organized, reflecting the good training foundation and calm attitude in dealing with emergencies.

​ Tips for using fire extinguishers

​ The first step was to teach the use of common fire extinguishers. Under the guidance of professional staff, everyone understood the working principle of different types of fire extinguishers such as dry powder fire extinguishers, carbon dioxide fire extinguishers and their applicable scenes. Afterwards, the staff demonstrated the operation steps on the spot:

​ - Remove the safety pin;

​ - Hold nozzle firmly and aim at base of flame;

​ - Depress the handle and advance gradually from near to far.

​ Through hands-on practice, each participant mastered the correct way to extinguish a fire, greatly enhancing the ability to cope with the initial fire.

​ This was immediately followed by a practical session on fire hose. The staff introduced in detail the basic essentials of laying and connecting fire hoses and emphasized the importance of keeping calm and reasonably allocating water sources. During the practical operation, everyone learned to assemble the equipment quickly and accurately, and tried to control the direction of water flow with a view to achieving the best extinguishing effect.

​ Through this comprehensive fire drill, it not only strengthens the teamwork spirit among the employees, but also significantly improves their quick reaction ability and handling skills in emergencies.
